Commonly used alloy wire varieties are as follows:
1, high-strength aluminum alloy wire
High-strength aluminum alloy wire is an aluminum alloy product added with elemental magnesium and silicon in aluminum, and obtained sufficient strength, plasticity and electrical properties after processing deformation and heat treatment. It is the largest and most widely used aluminum alloy power transmission line. Aluminum alloy varieties. The high-strength aluminum alloy wire has a conductivity of 53% IACS, and its strength is nearly double that of ordinary aluminum wires, and the aluminum alloy single wire strength is more than 300 Mpa. The strength of ordinary aluminum single wire is 150~170Mpa, aluminum alloy wire has greater strength in terms of strength.
2, heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire
The heat-resistant aluminum alloy is classified into a heat-resistant aluminum alloy having a conductivity of 58% IACS and a highly-conductive heat-resistant aluminum alloy that further adds antimony to aluminum. Since the wire is used at a temperature of 150 DEG C. to 90 DEG C., the flow rate can be increased by 61 to 69%. Therefore, a heat-resistant aluminum alloy can be used as a compatibilizing wire. The high-strength properties of high-strength, heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire can improve the dynamic stability in the event of a short circuit or overload; its heat resistance improves thermal stability. The super-heat-resistant aluminum alloys and ultra-high-heat-resistant aluminum alloys to be developed can further increase the current carrying capacity and heat resistance of the wires, and further increase the long-term use temperature to 180°C, 210°C, and 230°C.
High-strength aluminum alloy wires and heat-resistant low-resistance aluminum alloy wires have the following advantages over conventional steel-cored aluminum stranded wires:
(1) Under the same unit weight, the aluminum alloy conductor has the advantages of low DC resistance, large current carrying capacity, large pulling force, and large ratio of pulling force to weight;
(2) Compared with the same current-carrying capacity, aluminum alloy wire has the advantages of important lightness, large pulling force, and large single-strand weight ratio. Aluminum alloy wire is a single material wire, easy to install and construct;
(3) Aluminum alloy wire bearing low resistance to risk levels;
(4) The service life of ordinary steel-cored aluminum stranded wire is about 50 years, and the service life of aluminum alloy wire is 100 to 120 years or more.
